Faith & Religious Liberty

Faith has long shaped the character and culture of Lewis County. For many in our community, faith informs how we serve, lead, and care for our neighbors.

We believe religious liberty is foundational to a healthy civic society. Protecting that liberty ensures individuals, families, churches, and faith-based organizations can live out their convictions openly and responsibly.

Strong communities are built on conscience, character, and freedom.

  • Support for faith-based schools, charities, and community groups that strengthen our county.
  • Respect for traditional marriage as a foundation of family and faith.
  • Protection of parental rights in faith formation and education.
  • The rule of law, ensuring religious liberties are defended.
  • Free speech that allows open discussion of faith and values.
